Courses12 day CSTD Certificate Training in Supervision in partnership with The Findhorn Foundation
Work is Love in Action – Peter Caddy (co-founder Findhorn Foundation)Tutors: Robin Shohet and Joan Wilmot
Our vision for running the training in the Findhorn community is to encourage a residential experience through their Building Bridges programme as we have found that living together and eating together within an established learning community and ecovillage deepens and enriches the experience and the learning.
'Iam an experienced therapist who works academically and therapeutically in the west of England. I completed the certificate in supervision at the CSTD. Without hesitation I would recommend this fantastic training. Robin and Joan are extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and honest trainers – they both have a genuine warmth and passion for their areas of expertise. I did three of the modules in London and the fourth In Scotland at Findhorn. Interestingly I found it financially more cost effective to stay and train in Scotland than in London. My expenses for Scotland included return flights from the West county, food and accommodation on site at Findhorn and taxis to and from the airport and it still proved cheaper than trains to London and a 2 night stay in a budget hotel. It was also an amazing experience spending time within the spiritual community at Findhorn. Matt from the West Country, 2016
The Findhorn environment provided a space which naturally supported the reflective and relational emphasis of the Supervision Training. Each module is residential which enabled our group to work and live together thus further developing the reflective and relational aspects. For me the experiential nature of the training such as:
- supervising supervisees
- triad work
- inquiries with supervisees, supervisor and peers
- giving and receiving feedback
I truly believe the community and nature of Findhorn has been the ideal place for a course such as this. The perfect space in which to empty in readiness for the work to come. Group Findhorn October 2015
There is something special about being in Findhorn. I loved doing my training here as I got to have the Findhorn experience too. Everything slowed down and i believe this paralleled the supervision training which is a process of slowing things down and looking at what's going on. Being here allowed me to look at myself enabled to reconnect with the beauty inside of me and the also the beauty in nature all around. A lovely loving place to be. Group Findhorn October 2015
